Origin Story
Bloomstudy Payments was created by Jess Pagliara, an Accounts Payable (AP) expert with nearly 20 years of experience helping teams simplify and strengthen their financial processes.
Jess started her career in private offices and later brought her expertise to the public sector, leading AP teams and guiding organizations through major system transformations. She quickly became known for turning complicated workflows into clear, efficient systems, and for making the workday a little easier for everyone involved.
After training many AP professionals and hundreds of departmental users, Jess saw a common theme: most AP staff are trained on what to do, but not why it matters, causing an under development in judgement and problem solving in the field. Without these critical AP skills, safeguards are weak and payments inaccurate, putting organizations and their bank accounts at risk. That realization inspired her to create Flourish in Finance: Developing Expertise in Accounts Payable, a program built on the Bloomstudy Method, a practical approach that helps AP teams save time, reduce errors, and enjoy their roles and work relationships more.
Today, Jess helps clients streamline processes, implement new systems, and develop confident, capable AP teams. Her approachable style and focus on people make even the most complex financial processes feel manageable and attainable.
